If you plan to drive, please consider ridesharing or carpooling. We are located in a residential neighborhood on a road without street parking. Some parking is available on connecting streets like Santa Fe Ave. and a public parking lot at Bassett Park is within 10 minutes walking distance. Very limited parking is available at Sparkle Taffy. Reserved parking is available for people with disabilities. Please be mindful during arrival that we are located in a residential area and have neighbors. Refer to map for directions:

There are multiple bus routes that run between the cities of New Haven and Hamden. Best routes change depending on times of departure.
From Union Station in New Haven, buses travel to Whitney Ave and Santa Fe Ave., a 13 minute walk from Sparkle Taffy. (est. 40 minute travel time)
From Downtown New Haven, buses travel from Church St. & Elm St. to Ridge Rd. and Jackson Rd, across the street from Sparkle Taffy. (est. 25 minute travel time)
From Yale University’s campus, buses travel from Whitney Ave. and Trumbull St. to Whitney Ave. and Santa Fe Ave. (est. 25 minute travel time)
Parking at Sparkle Taffy is reserved for people with disabilities and residents. Sparkle Taffy can be accessed through two inline ramps at the front entrance to the house. Assistance may be required due to the incline of both ramps. The first ramp is 5’ long and ascends one step at an 8 degree incline. The second ramp is 4’ long and ascends another step at an 8.5 degree incline. Signs are posted throughout the house to guide visitors to the space. Please note that some doorways are 29” wide.
Restrooms are also located within the house. Turning radius is only 36” in both restrooms. The farthest restroom includes a comfort height toilet, portable safety rails and a 33” tall pedestal sink.
