Sonnenzimmer is the Chicago­-based art practice and studio of Nick Butcher and Nadine Nakanishi, merging backgrounds in graphic, sound, and fine art. They have exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago and the Art Institute of Chicago, and their work can be found in the collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, Museum of Design Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland, Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany, Ragnarock Museum for Pop, Rock, and Youth Culture, Roskilde Denmark, and the Newberry Library, Chicago.

Ivana Dama (b. Belgrade, Yugoslavia; lives and works in New York) received an MFA in Sculpture from Yale University and a BFA in Design Media Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is an artist and researcher exploring the nonverbal expression of experiences shaped by social and political conflict through sound studies and sonic memory. Her work, including audio-video installations, robotics, web projects, and performances, examines the relationship between sound and space across multiple scales, from microscopic vibrations and architectural acoustics to satellite transmission.

Saskia Seraphima Globig is a freelance designer and performance artist based in New Haven and NYC.

Tobi Kassim was born in Ibadan, Nigeria, moved to the United States in 2003, and currently lives in Brooklyn. His poems have been published in The Volta, Adroit Journal, The Brooklyn Review, The Kenyon Review, Obsidian, The Rumpus, Chicago Review, Four Way Review, The Boiler, mercury firs, Action Spectacle, Academy of American Poets' Poem-A-Day, and elsewhere. He has essays forthcoming in Obsidian and Michigan Quarterly Review. His chapbook Dear Sly Stone was published by Spiral Editions in 2023. 

Africanus Okokon works with moving image, performance, painting, assemblage, collage, sound, and installation to explore dialectics of forgetting and remembrance in relation to shared, cultural, and personal mediated histories. He received an MFA in Painting/Printmaking from Yale University in 2020 and a BFA in Film/Animation/Video from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 2013. Africanus is an Associate Professor in Film/Animation/Video at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and is based in Providence, Rhode Island.
